At one point, you can hear a man at the back shout "Move the feet", and Copperfield does. He invented this trick and it became a new landmark in magic history. He then flies through rotating hoops and then sealed inside a glass box, to prove there is nothing supporting him. This was first shown on television during 1992, for Copperfield's 14th magic special, The magic of David Copperfield XIV: Flying - Live the dream. No computer effects or edits are used in this illusion, and the perspex box has been previously inspected by two random audience members. The people who are seated around him on stage are the two back rows of the theatre, who David invited to join him on stage. David Copperfield - Portal - The most amazing illusion ever David Copperfield teleports himself and a member of the audience to Hawaii from hundreds of miles away in seconds, in front of an audience of over twenty thousand people in a round theater, completely surrounded. This clip is taken from The Magic of David Copperfield XVII: Tornado of Fire, and was performed thousands of times all over the world in his tour "Portal", which ran from 2000 to 2002. ================================== Exposure comments will not be approved. ================================== Due to the many theories on how this could possibly be done, here are a few of the theories and why they are false: "The picture is not the same" - It does look slightly different, but that is because of the low quality of Youtube and the camera angle and the glare of the sun. The photo is still signed, and has exactly the same random people, with exactly the same poses; hand positions and everything. It is the same photo. "The initals are not the same" - Yes they are, though they are seen from a different angle. "It was all pre-recorded, and they digitally put the photo and the initials on it." - Impossible. Firstly, this was filmed back in 2000, when no such technology existed. Secondly even today it is not THAT good, it is still flimsy and looks unrealistic. Thirdly it is impossible to "digitally project" an image on to a 3D object, such as an arm.
