Japanese Festival! 「日本の祭り」 Miki & I went on an adventure to the Okazaki Matsuri. It was REALLY packed but the fireworks were fantastic and the food was great! I didn't get to film everything i wanted but i still think i got some good stuff! ~NOTE~ At the end of the video, the Japanese conversation is about when people want to leave the "Yakuza" (Japanese Mafia), if they want to leave they have to have their little finger cut off. Hakata Dontaku Festival 2009 2009年博多どんたく港まつり Had the pleasure of participating in the famous Dontaku Festival with my classmates at NILS. Dontaku comes from a Dutch word, "Zondag" which also means "Sunday", or in this case "Holiday". On this day, people from all over Japan gather to watch as residents fill the streets clapping rice paddles and playing shamisen. All in all, it's a good day. Music is by Kevin MacLeod, from the infamous incompetech.com.
